I have liked the thought of two male friends together before, but I have never forced it onto them seriously, or purposefully made them uncomfortable. It's just something I keep at the back of my mind. Like when they do things I've seen couples in BL do, I giggle in my head. I don't think it's good to force those things on people IRL.   reply

I treasure my friends and I consider them family so I don't like making them uncomfortable. Shipping my male friends together makes them awkward around each other so I don't. It's ok to goof around with your friends about it but don't go and seriously ship them.   2 reply

I know it seems pretty hypocritical to say this, but the fetishization of IRL people and LGBT relationships is sickening, especially being in the community myself. Please don't force "ships" on your friends (it can be really annoying), or do anything that makes them uncomfortable.   2 reply
