Illegal manga and anime sites are actually great archiving tools and people should give it more credit for that

Like I read a mix of things basically every big genre but I also like reading obscure manga and shoujo series from the 90s and 2000s, series extras or other stuff without offical translations and im pretty sure a lot of that would be lost media (atleast translated) if all the sites didn’t exist

Damn I feel dumb for just realizing that

I'm so tired of people not owning up to their own mistakes, especially in the academic sphere. "oh yeah the question paper was hard" "i made silly mistakes" "i didn't have enough time"
BE SO FR RN THE PAPER WOULDN'T BE HARD IF YOU HAD COVERED ALL THE TOPICS AND PUT IN EFFORT
YOU WOULDN'T HAVE MADE SILLY MISTAKES IF YOU HAD PRACTICED ENOUGH
YOU WOULD HAVE ENOUGH TIME IF YOU FUCKING PRACTICEDDDD
I'm no topper. infact the exact opposite but i have the balls to say that i didn't do well in school because i didn't study. it was a conscious decision. i had a choice and i made my choice.
sighhhh

I played Co-op with an online friend I just made. We were aiming for the top ranks in this event that lasted a week. But after we were done, we didn't have any other thing to keep us connected so we just drifted apart. Is this the norm? Is there like an offline irl equivalent to this cause the time we spent during the event was so fun but now it's nothing.

Tldr: there's a reason the saying goes "madness is one story above genius" From what I've seen, overly intelligent people cant relate to others. It starts young, the kids called "gifted" in school were called that bc they focused on learning new facts and expanding their vocabulary by reading, while others were socializing. So when you grow up, i......   reply

There are psychological issues that can develop seemingly without much warning in your 20’s and 30’s. Like schizophrenia. Or they could have had a diagnosis like bi-polar disorder but it can get much more severe during that age range as well. Lastly, like I said previously they could have already had a mental illness but it wasn’t an issu......   reply

There are a lot of really smart people who had severe mental issues. Beethoven had bipolar. Churchill has bipolar. Kurt Godel literally starved himself to death due to paranoia Newton had one miracle year and then went into a neurotic shizo breakdown and those two words I am NOT using lightly. Tesla had uhh OCD. John Nash had I believe schizophren......   reply
