There are too many!! I don't have just three... I don't even have just three authors... Ten Count is definitely number 1! Hands down! (The art is beautiful and the character combo is unique! Ive never seen another character quite like Shirotani... Plus, I LOVE psychological romances! ALL of Takarai Rihito's stuff is amazing though... Hana no Mizo ......   reply

I have a LOT of favorites, but most of them are well-known already, so here are the ones that aren't usually mentioned as a favorite.... 1) Canis http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/canis/ The narration pulls you in. The art is gorgeous, and the story is full of depth. Probably one of the most unique. 2) Mou Ichido, Nando Demo http://www.mangago......   1 reply

I have to choose a top three out of the hundreds I've previously read? Difficult... I'll go by the more recent manga I've read, then. 1 - Heaven & Hell Roman Company by Mum (lovelovelovelovelovelovelove) 2 - Ten Count by Takarai Rihito (words can't describe my feelings for this manga & the other series this author has written) 3 - UGH I CAN'T......   reply

(It will be a big ramble on my initial thoughts on the matter, shit storm, brace yourself) Well, I agree with what most of the people said. Yaoi is originally derived from shoujo magazines, so ukes are like an "evoluted female", while semes inherit the prince-like characteristic that women (the main target of BL magazines) wish to see in an ideal ......   reply

If I had to pick 3 it would be Shizuku hanabira ringo no kaori by Touko Kawai, Seven Days by Takarai Rihito and maybe Super Lovers by Abe Miyuki (even if if don't like the animation …). But I really love the works of Yoneda Kou, Natsume Isaku, Yamamoto Kotetsuko, Yoo Ha Jin, Ogeretsu Tanaka and soooooo many else *_*   1 reply

I'm basic so i'm gonna have to go for Samejima-kun to Sasahara-kun. The story will make you go "awww"! The art is not the best, But the story , voices, and just the personality of the characters totally make up for it!   reply

It's hard to pick three, there are too many! But I'll start with Junjou Romantica by Nakamura Shungiku . I have been following that story for so long it would be wrong to not mention it. Ten Count by Takarai Rihito and Little Butterfly by Takanaga Hinako. I also seriously love mangaka's Ogeretsu Tanaka, Kuraka Sui and many many more....   reply

The seme is nearly always depicted with this kind of 'perfect boyfriend' image; he only has eyes for his beloved uke, he can't do it with anyone else because he's so madly in love with the uke, whether the uke is unfaithful or not (makes him more attractive in the readers' eyes) Yaoi/shounen ai manga is directed at a female audience. Usually the uk......   reply
