My friend was at my house and I asked her if she wanted to borrow one of my books, she said yes please and then asked me if I've read it or not. I lied and said I did when I actually haven't read it. The guilt is eating me up inside for lying to her.   reply

When I was 12, I went to see a movie with my friends. My mom were very adamant on not letting me go see it, reasons unknown. I was an obedient child, but because of FOMO, I caved and watched it. I dunno if "bad" per se, but in elementary school a friend moved away and gave me their contact info and I promised to stay in touch. Never reached out. I feel bad both because I feel like I let them down, but also because it's been such a fucking struggle to make friends after elementary so I wish I would have maintained that relationship.   reply
