Just go with whatever shit rituals your parents want u to do rn, there's no point fighting it. It's their house, and since they sound just like my family, everything will ve as they say. My advice would be to bid your time and work hard so that you could move aboard if you're still in school and then you'll be free.   reply

OK so my parents are Hindu . My relationship with my parents isn't good. But they never really forced their religion on me. I can't say I'm an atheist. I don't really care about God and stuff. But I celebrate all festivals because it fun, not to mention the food tho. Like all the sweets I get too eat and I can chill on holidays at home and the mone......   reply

Actually no, my parents are Buddhist or something but I have a very strong feeling they're not firm believers and they're just following the stuff their parents taught them. I never learned anything about Buddha or Buddhism actually. We pray briefly on certain holidays to a Buddha statue in the garage and have candle/incense? sticks there and put o......   reply

Honestly, parent's shouldn't force their kid to believe in what they do. I'm Muslim and so are my parents but they've never forced me to pray or do anything much. I do fast during Ramadan but that's about it and it's more like they slowly eased me and my sister into the religion and besides we were raised in a Muslim country so we grew up with the ......   reply
