When I graduated high school, the speech our superintendent “wrote” was basically just her making a basic ass “congratulations you graduated” speech and then proceeded to brag how she generated the entire thing within minutes on chatgbt. It felt like a slap to the face. We were worth so little, she couldn’t even be bothered to write a che......   reply

I don't think the issue with chatGPT is someone using it to write the message. You CAN make it sound like you if you know how to work around it and how to teach it. If someone spent THAT much time just to get chatGPT to write me a message because they had no idea, I wouldn't mind, because it still takes time and they are still editing it. The is......   1 reply

I like using it when I need inspiration, but then I take whatever it spits out and make it my own. It should only be used as an inspiration to kick off ideas, not as the idea itself.   1 reply

It hasn't been the same when a professor told us that chatgpt need massive power sources. Like it needs what all power Europe consumes × 3   reply

I would stop being friends if someone did this to me. I'm friends with a person and not chatgpt, if i wanted chatgpt to give me advice/comfort me I'd just text there. I'm not opening up my heart to someone who won't bother writing me their own thoughts   reply

I understand using it to help you say something you want to emphasise to a person without accidently coming across the wrong way etc, but only with helping. Now I have no clue how ChatGPT works as I never used it, but I believe you could send a message to chatgpt and ask if it's offense or any spelling errors, etc, almost like an advance grammerly......   reply

it's never necessarily "confirmed" AI, but i find it hella funny when influencers get copped for chatgpt apologies after a scandal, like it's giving "i'm not sorry about anything but i do rely on this for my income so.... let me pretend to grow as a person in the 6 hours everyone got mad at me uwu"   2 reply

I think ChatGPT should be used to study, not do actual schoolwork, which is a big difference. Plus it’s harmful to the environment so don’t use it for simple google stuff. Besides that, it’s horrible to use it for heartfelt messages or even just normal conversation at all   reply

I know ppl use it a lot now for school. But what are your opinions on using it to write heartfelt messages to other ppl? Personally, I find it so disingenuous. It's feels so empty. Even at my lowest of lows, I'd rather get a message full of spelling and grammar mistakes than a message written by chatgpt. Thoughts?
