This isn’t nerd slang lmao they’re just terms to differentiate between comics written in (or by an author who is) Chinese, Korean and Japanese respectively. Like for example ‘donghua’ would be Chinese animated works, whereas in Japan they would simply call it ‘anime’.   reply
