Being Awake For Far Too Long

When you are a student sleep is never an option. I usually stay awake during the night to finish school work or cram for exams and take power naps during the day so that i don't look like a zombie through out the day. if you re an architecture student you dont have an option for proper sleeping ╥﹏╥ i guess my record was 65-70 hours straight. On holidays i sleep 7-8 hours but if i am lucky and mom lets me sleep more, it's around 10 hours. 48 hours straight. I stayed up all night to do an assignment that i've been putting of till the deadline. In the end, I only started working on it just a few hours before I should get to college, and it was due first thing in the morning. I can't sleep for 7-8 hours, I just can't. I can only sleep for 3-5 hours a day, even most days I don't sleep in them but I can go through it normally.   2 reply

There's been a lot on my mind to the point that I didn't sleep for 3 whole days straight and all my friends nagged at me telling me to sleep properly because I looked dead. I don't have insomnia, but I really couldn't sleep. I woke up to school at 7 am, and couldn't sleep at night. I even had a test the other day. When I got home I ate something and suddenly on the evening I felt dizzy and had illusions. It scared the shit out of me and i felt high. Eventually I fell asleep around 10 pm. ...and still have to deal with it sometimes. I feel less alone reading other people's experiences, but I wish no one had to experience insomnia. It can be a real struggle to deal with.   reply

We had a summer camp that lasted for 2 weeks... and during the first week, I just can't sleep... and I always end up taking a walk at 4 am and showering before them. That time...
