Being Awake For Far Too Long

i was 10-11 years old and had just started watching anime. I'd get maybe 1/2-1 hour of sleep a week. it lasted about 1/2 a year . by that time my parents had noticed something was up , and investigated. they shut that down . i got grounded and it was 1-3 years till i was normal again. #－.－)   reply

The longest I've been awake without really sleeping was for about 7 days. I "slept" maybe for 20-30 minutes 2-3 times during the night and that was it. Right now I'm at it again, it's nearly 5 am, I slept for about an hour. The day before yesterday. And it's not like I'm lazy, i worked two 8 hour shifts in the meantime. Yeah, this usually happens when there's a social gathering or event that I have to attend in the morning. I'm nocturnal, you see. And I really really can't help it when I'm wide awake in the evening and literally can't force myself to sleep even though everyone else is in the house. I started working two days ago, and my first shift was a night shift. I woke up at 9 am, by accident, and the shift is on 11:30 pm. I thought I'll take a nap, but couldn't sleep. After working 7.5 hours, I went back home and immediately fell asleep. I was so tired, not because of working (in a tampons factory) but because I was a wake for 24 hours ......   reply

was awake for three days straight. I'd have loved to say it was because I was reading but I wasn't even if was indulging in yaoi or reading I'd still sleep no matter how good it was. I'd stay up late sure but I'd sleep eventually sometime in the day. It was the end of the semester and this was me and my friends trying to kill ourselves apparently.......   reply

So a few months ago, the bungou movie came out. And I was working on my Chuuya outfit so I could cosplay when I go see the movie. And omg, I stayed up for a whole week straight. When you are a student sleep is never an option. I usually stay awake during the night to finish school work or cram for exams and take power naps during the day so that i don't look like a zombie through out the day.
