Me personally, joining club really help elevate my university experience. It helps in socializing, a short distraction from my major and as a reminder to not rot in my room.   reply

Try to join an organization or club! My first semester, my entire life was pretty much just hanging out with people from my major and I hadn’t really made many friends and was pretty lonely. Awful and trying to like it. Still don't find much to like after decades. Doing my best trying to forget how effing depressing that is in itself.
