So I'm 30 now (jesus) and I never bothered with boys. I always had something better to do then go on dates. Thought I just hadn't meet an interesting dude yet. Sure guys were handsome enough and I liked to daydream, but nothing more then that. At 25 I started making myself go on dates. Honestly, having a partner is overrated. I love having time and money to myself and not having stress from relationship issues. I hear people talking about the problems they have relationship wise and I'm just like "Is it really worth the stress and effort?" i hate how there's this societal pressure to do certain things at a certain age. Like, you have to have your first kiss by this age, have a relationship by this age, etc. and if you haven't achieved any of this by a certain age, you start to think there's something wrong with you. Complete FREEDOM! I've been single for a long damned time and I love it a lot. Though, relatives and friends were questioning my status, I just keep it the way it is. Well.. for me.. the greatest perk is that i don't have to reply to every single chat or text he/she sends me... cause when i don't reply they just start being annoying--- hypothesizing any possible reasons and scenarios on why i didn't answer or why i didn't reply right away... then they start interrogating ..I just end up feeling suffocated someh......   reply
