Weird Mangago Questions

Hi! I’m a PhD student with a focus media and sexuality studies, specifically BL. Long story short yes, I 100% believe it is fine. In fact, these sort of fantasies can even be healthy, when they remain within the realm of fantasy. I’ll be leaving links to academic sources about this below. This goes with other kinds of illegal things—murder, c......   2 reply

Even if its fictional, its still not okay and infact can be incredibely damaging due to the intrusive thoughts or way of thinking that can occur from such consuming such media. This goes for fictional incest and pedophilia too. If you were a victim and your still rather young consuming such media, whether you like it or not, it does warp you and t......   2 reply

Maybe it's a coping mechanism? I was molested as a child and now as an adult I'm only attracted to people who are 15+ years older than me and i like the grooming style/approach   3 reply

Formals are weird. Like I think they’d be better if it was more relaxed and you could dress up if you wanted. Like I wasn’t allowed to wear my docs & had to wear a fancy dress which was not my vibe at all. In retrospect I never enjoyed formals. I went to my first prom as a freshman and it sucked. Literally danced with this dude who was grinding......   2 reply

we have the exact same dances except the sadie hawkings. But, a tradition that's done before homecoming is that the girls in my school would wear something that's called a 'mum', sounds funny, but it's called that bc the flower in the center is a chrysanthemum. And, guys would wear garters. I think couples typically buy each other's garter/mums but......   1 reply

I live in the us and at my school we have homecoming (for all grades of high school, supposed to invite alumni back for it but it’s not really a followed tradition, however the football (not soccer) game is),

prom (for juniors and seniors [2nd to last and last year of high school] or younger people who have dates that are senior and juniors, and honestly the point is to party and enjoy yourself before graduation nothing else much)

and sadie hawkings (for all, and it’s where the girl asks the guy out but not religiously followed because date is synonymous with friend at a school dance, and it only happens every four years),

but Anyways i googled what other countries do for school dances and they said that’s an American thing I just can’t believe that other nations don’t want to party. Like, there is no way that only America and a few European countries have school dances, so I guess my question is what does your school and country do for dances or celebration?
