Do y’all have formal dances?

I live in the us and at my school we have homecoming (for all grades of high school, supposed to invite alumni back for it but it’s not really a followed tradition, however the football (not soccer) game is),
prom (for juniors and seniors [2nd to last and last year of high school] or younger people who have dates that are senior and juniors, and honestly the point is to party and enjoy yourself before graduation nothing else much)
and sadie hawkings (for all, and it’s where the girl asks the guy out but not religiously followed because date is synonymous with friend at a school dance, and it only happens every four years),
but Anyways i googled what other countries do for school dances and they said that’s an American thing I just can’t believe that other nations don’t want to party. Like, there is no way that only America and a few European countries have school dances, so I guess my question is what does your school and country do for dances or celebration?

id put them in a room with only a chair and a ceiling fan then id offer them a rope. Then lock them in for 5 days and Id come back later to see what happened. Call it a little social experiment if you will reply
Mmm, how can I explain this? I know a lot of people with CSA/Rape trauma tend to romantize it. As a way to like, try and make it less traumatic. I know I did, as like. 'Its fiction. The trick to getting a partner is to *not* want a partner. Either the Lord hates you and gives you a partner, or loves you and gives you a partner. It doesn't matter if you're in college or working, you just gotta genuinely not want one. reply
