I started the year by waking up at twelve, getting my ass kicked in limbus, and then my glasses breaking.
I am so tired of people thinking they know better than professionals when they don't even have basic knowledge on the topic.
I'm a student in dental hygiene who recently argued in a YouTube comment section with a guy who had said that if fluoride was effective, we wouldn't be seeing such high rates of gum illnesses in the population. Not what fluoride is for. Not even close. I took the time to explain why, but no reply.
Then another person jumped in. They were on my side, but claimed fluoride only works when ingested and not through topical applications like toothpaste. Not true. I had to correct them too, but still: no reply. No reply to me, but the two bozos keep arguing with each other for days. Misinformation against misinformation.
Why are we so stupid?

Like I mentioned passing-ly to this guy once that "oh sorry, was taking my meds lol" and he acted like I was an in patient at a hospital. Like no? I got tourettes, depression and anemia not fucking cancer.
Like god forbid I be a jolly fellow taking my colourful medication. Gotta have some bitch act like I'm dying or something.
The only thing I'm gonna die of is fucking annoyance
Idk I might be tone deaf to this because I grew up in a family with disabilities and mental health issues who had to pop them pills.
Like I don't see taking meds as a sad thing. I take them, they help, I go on with life. Same with my mother and my sisters

So an American Chinese girl met some Chinese friends from China and they were like hey our parents should we meet and then she went to tell her dad about and the dad visited their family. Sadly the dad came back crying saying he hates being Chinese. The family was criticizing him, calling him trash and smelly because he picks up trash as his job to provide for his family, a rat and more. had anyone here ever on therapist? is therapy really effective, is it real? is the therapist giving an advice about how you should go of what you're scared of/to do?
like, for example, I've stayed inside the house almost all my life, I've always been scared to people ever since i was a kid and idk why but getting older i stopped going outside, and i hate myself for it, and every year it just gotten worse, so like, if i go to therapy and my therapist said I should go face people WHICH I AM SO SCARED OF I'D RATHER DIE (im scared of my own fam), what shall i do then?
