Hey, most people don’t pick a major or career course and whatnot their first year of college. My advice is to sign up for the basic courses (your required credits like math, etc.) and get those out of the way for now. At most you should ask your friend why he specifically chose the word trap over crossdresser or female impersonator or that he prefers to dress in feminine clothing. I think the term trap is problematic and that should be addressed, but other than that don't do anything just let your friend be himself. reply

Do you have any ideas of careers you like or interest you? If there is none. Maybe you have to take a step back and think? In my opinion, its good to explore your abilities and interests. Most people don't know what they want to do in life and most people change what they're gonna do like 3 times in college. It's dumb to worry about this when you haven't attended college classes before because college give you the opportunity to explore unlike high school. I don't think i really understand what a "trap" is, is it like trans? But, if this person is really your friend and you care about them then you will care about them whether they are trans/ like wearing certain clothing, etc. Maybe its a phase or maybe its not, either way, as a friend it is your responsibility to show kindness and understanding. Ok so ever since quarantine started I've been stressing out because of my future
I'm in 12th grade and next year I'm gonna be a college student BUT I DONT FUCKING LNOW WHAT COURSE I WANT I really don't know what to take I don't have a ambition

to start off, please stop using the word "trap," believe it or not it's actually bad for trans people since "traps" are often viewed as comedy relief in media so we, as much as possible, avoid that term (won't be elaborating much on this since you pretty get the gist of what i'm saying). just treat your friend the same way you treated him before. ...... reply
