Honestly I have adhd and one thing that kind of helps me is focusing on one thing. It doesn’t matter what it is as long as I can close my eyes and just focus one one thing it rlly helps me fall asleep when my mind is running rampant. For me I always like to make up stories in my head with characters and I just think about that until I fall asleep......   reply

as someone with rly bad insomnia i usually try to drink something warm, having smthing warm can relax you a lot but ik it's hard to do cuz summer lol take a shower/bath if you can, even if it's just water running on ur body i wish u the best, sleep medicidines is just. not the best. (it never made me sleep either lmao)   reply

TIRE YOURSELF OUT. Go jog or run or walk, if you're just at home, do chores, move around, exercise, do heavy stuff that will TIRE your physical body out. It wil also help if you won't even lay on your bed aside from only when you're about to go to sleep.   reply

Train yourself like a Pavlov's dog and do something that relaxes you and then try to sleep. No matter how annoying or hard it is at first, even if you can't fall sleep right away, don't do anything else after that thing and just try to rest. - Make the area around your bed cozy. - Taking a Sunbath during day gives a good sleep at night (trust me) - Make temperature of your room comfortable - DON'T use mobile or any gadgets 2-3hrs before sleeping. - Use blue cut eye glasses when you work on screen during day. - Take a good bath, and skin care before bed. - Don't over eat or under eat. -......   reply

Shower, wash your teeth and do your skincare hours before you sleep, so you don’t have to stress out at the last minute, don’t eat 4 hours before you sleep, don’t scroll through instagram or TikTok, relax. Also buy yourself an armchair, so you don’t spend your day in your bed.   reply

I have a similar problem and when it was really bad I found this video helpful https://youtu.be/86HUcX8ZtAk?si=GnnrLXu0bepc6CXL It wouldn't like immediately put me to sleep but it helped me relax more since most of my insomnia is caused by anxiety. Also try setting a goal for what time u want to be in bed and trying to fall asleep. Keep it realist......   reply
