Honestly I don't believe things like "You have to do this so they (the ghost/spirit) don't bother you", but I do believe they exist. My principle is "I don't bother then, they don't bother me". I've seen paranormal things with my own eyes, but you can't make me throw away my food for them as an "offering". By this one I mean like when it's raining......   reply

Not exactly a superstition, but if I saw a scary vid or something and can’t fall asleep, I play bossa nova. Can you imagine getting attacked by an Alternate or a murderer while smooth elevator music is playing? I can’t, they’d be too busy grooving to kill me.
