As long it doesn't have pictures that can be recognized from afar, it should be safe to READ fanfics and texts that are smut! Otherwise you gotta just use a private screen protector or hid your phone and you should be safe XD 1 reply
I don't mind if it's a novel cause people will just think I read a regular book unless they know specifically what book I'm reading. but manhwa/manga? no. who knows? people might stare at me like you or worse they record without me knowing & then my face will be all over the internet. I used to read "trash books" on the tram and one of those had hardcore smut scenes.
Totally fine reading in public. Sometimes it was unbearable tho because they were horribly written and I had to hold back my laughter.
What i can't do is read smutty webcomics in public. Tried that once and I'll never do it again. I didn't even want to see that so ...... 1 reply
