I get this a lot. "YoU aRe FeTiShIzInG gAyS!!1!". First of all, no, I'm not. Just because I like Yaoi/BL doesn't mean I want to be gay and do this. Defending myself is awful, especially when I have to it ALL THE TIME. Yaoi is an amazing genre, and it's tarnished by the fetishizers. Rant over.   1 reply

(LGBT+ member here, lesbian tho) Haha ohhhhh a history lesson, ‘fujoshi’ literally translates to ‘rotten woman’ and the history of the term is that it was coined by misogynistic and homophobic men who believed that if a woman enjoyed BL content, she was rotten aka unmarriable The term I believe now has been reclaimed by Japanese women and ......   2 reply

Hi, i am researching for our project and i need to know your opinions about yaoi and fujoshis. I need all of your sides, from the discriminated boys or fujoshis who defend themselves. I am in desperate need of help. People are saying fujoshis and fudanshis are toxic and harmful(I AM NOT STARTING FANDOM WARS) and i need to know the sides of those discriminated by the fujoshis and fudanshis and the sides of the fujoshis that are constantly discriminated by people saying you are fetishizing gay people. I'd say most people want and need sex in a relationship, but some people don't. Problems only come when someone who wants sex is with someone who doesn't, that relationship I think would not survive. Even if everything's perfect, without sex it won't really get anywhere. It won't last. Unless of course, both parties are asexuals.   reply

My boyfriend is similar in that he doesn’t have much interest in sex and I can’t say I’m the same but that hasn’t kept me from happily being in a relationship with him regardle......   reply

If you look a bit into different sexualities, you might find people who have started to differentiate between romantic and erotic love. For many people, the two appear together, but you can love a person romantically and still not feel the need to have sex. As long as you talk about it with your partner, there really is no difference to a relation......   reply

I've had relationships and i had both kind of relationship (with and w/o sexual things) but the thing is, good relationship comes from communication and understanding (and personality tbh). It does add flavor but someone can be good in bed but bad at handling relationships ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ That was my opinion tho others might say otherwise. Anyw......   reply
