If you want to remain friends with him, then do your best. Whether it's actually stopping or lie to him. I think it isnt that big of a deal anyway. I lied to a lot of people about this too. I told them i only read shounen mangas but i actually read BL. Everyone has secrets at some point. This is just my opinion though.   2 reply

Its shitty of him to stop being your friend because you read bl, however he has the right to stop being your friend for whatever reason he pleases. Tbh I get why someone would be weirded out by the extreme fetishization of gay men in manga format. If he doesn't like it that much it's best not to remain friends and sadly move on.   1 reply
