Well, you see, I'm Arabian. These days I've noticed new BLs that have Arabian clothing, buildings, etc., like Antidote or Bloody Moon. TBH, homophobia is a huge issue in Islamic Arabic countries, and seeing the author making their characters gay where everyone supports them is just… I don't know what to feel about it. My country is barely ever mentioned so I'm usually happy even if it's a stereotypey portrayal. Also feel bad for my middle eastern friends yall have it tough when it comes to good representation.   reply
