My country is barely ever mentioned so I'm usually happy even if it's a stereotypey portrayal. Also feel bad for my middle eastern friends yall have it tough when it comes to good representation.   reply

What do y'all think about stories where the author is writing a story about your culture/religion/country/etc when they also don't belong to it? Do you mostly look past it? Cringe? Do you like an outsider POV? Do you laugh at it? Is there anything that makes you love or hate a story from an author who is an outsider?

Don't make them go stupid and useless cause the love interest is around. Consistent and logical thought process. Sometimes nonsense is thrown into stories to make them more inter......   reply
