No. (that was the end of my comment, but i will elaborate a little) Anime is just a form of art like any other tv show: it has different genres and different target audience (including age). Yuri irks me... I'm open-minded when it comes to sexuality stuff but I'd really rather avoid reading yuri or shoujo ai even when I'm almost addicted to yaoi. I've sorta read it from scum's wish. It was kinda subtle but it made me feel uncomfortable so I finished the story in one go just so that I don't have to read it again.   4 reply

As the others who have commented, I don't think you need to worry about age. I know people approaching 40 who still loves ghibli movies just as much as they did in their youth.
