I agree that the BL, yaoi community have a greater presence than other communities, in fact people are even incentivized to create gay content (Thai actors); but that's because 1) the genre has been acknowledge by the industry, 2) BL possesses infamy and fame. Okay, let's try not to generalize a group of people or single out a certain fandom. In my opinion, all fandoms have a dark side. I don't see why you have to single out people who like/love BL manga. In my life, I've seen plenty of nasty people in the Shoujo community and especially action. While I won't deny that certain fans can be cruel or misogy......   1 reply

Mainly BL reader here, I also get annoyed with those types of people aswell. It genuinely annoys me when people justify rape being used as a plot point, while it can be done well in stories around psychological horror or similar things, in BL it is mainly used to create drama in the story.
