I don’t know how you’ve come to this conclusion, but BL is definitely not as popular as straight romance, this site mainly focuses on BL that’s probably why you have this misconception. Just change site, a more neutral one and you’ll see that the community will change as well.   1 reply

It's kind of a funny/sad story actually. When I found out I was a lesbian, I was hell-bent on "fixing" myself and since I was such a huge anime/manga fan, I thought reading yaoi, which is like men x2, could help. Chill BL enjoyers can never catch a break forever being clumped up with weirdos like those. As long as the story is good, I don’t care what genre it is, it just so happens that I tend to enjoy BL the most. What I don’t like is when I’m reading something with 2 male friends and then people start speculating or shipping them. Guys can be just friends, not everything has to be a BL. Right and most BL's or Yaoi that most people read (like the very popular ones) are usually problematic with SA or abuse. I read anything that's on featured manga just to rate it, but I'm usually never pleased... if anyone has good GL or BxG recommendations that would be very much appreciated I keep coming across ones that are written by men who......   reply
