This also happens to me sometimes. Like I know it's not a dream or anything but I feel like I'm in one. Like sometimes I hear a loud metal noise ringing suddenly or like I zone out and feel sleepy yet very awake or feels like I'm in a dream. I feel physically in a dream yet I mentally know I'm in reality. So far, It happens sometimes and it doesn't......   reply

Sounds like self-hypnosis. People often do it while driving a familiar route, then when they get home they realize they can't remember passing such and such a landmark, yet they obviously did because they are home. I think you should get what you are experiencing checked out, though, as it is not normal and could be a sign of a bigger issue. Bet......   1 reply
