Has Gone Or Going To College

Exactly (maybe not exactly, but I want to copy the vibe) how my dad did. I was like, "Dad. I like girls, guys, and everything in between." He responded, "ew" and walked away eating his yogurt. (to clarify it wasn't a homophobic ew, it was a "you like dick AND boobs??" ew, and a "I support you, and the only way I know how to deal with this informati......   1 reply

All the parties. Fortunately I remember every one of them and had so much fun. But I also remember the first time I saw a dead body (I study Medicine) and all THOSE HOURS STUDYING AT THE LIBRARY WHILE MY FRIENDS WERE HANGING OUT AND HAVING FUN. I'm already in my fourth year and I don't know how I haven't failed any subject yet. I also remember t......   reply

I find that anyone willing to truthfully admit that they are homosexual should be looked at with sincere admiration. I am female and straight, but I've always lacked the courage to do anything with myself, buried in insecurities, I isolated myself so that I wouldn't become a shame to anyone. I get so sad when I heard about people that came out to their parents and they get yelled at, hated, even throwed out of their......   reply

Learning to beg. I was a reserved kid to the point that my professors misunderstood what i meant when I forgot to pass in a requirement in my freshman year. My professor asked me if I wanted a failing grade or an incomplete grade (meaning i have to go and get removals or complete the requirement I forgot). I was embarrassed bc the professor gave me......   reply

To be honest, I'd be so scared. I know it's 2017 and people are a whole lot more accepting but I'd be so scared. First, my family. They are West African and very religious. They are very homophobic. They also believe in light exorcism; the one where they pray for your soul for several days while on a mysterious mountain with a really loud pastor wh......   2 reply

Aw man, most memorable experience is dropping out I guess. Because I was losing all my will to learn and interact with everyone and go through basically what felt like second high school. (Or worse because high school has been quite nice for me.) I regret not waiting a few years before making a choice of college, that would have been so much wiser.......   reply
