No, for the same reasons abstinence only sex ed is stupid. Keeping kids away from the problem without actually solving the problem itself won't do anything. One day they're gonna have to use the internet, and if you prevent them from learning how to do that safely then they're just going to be in more danger.   reply

I get 15 below but lol 16 seems an appropriate gap since technically at that age technology is pretty much needed and age where one can think and handle consequences of their actions. Kinda yes, kinda no? I mean, it would be better if there was a way to filter out the pornographic content and some hateful things. Otherwise, taking away the internet entirely would not help in building one's own view of the current political landscape or the world outside of what's taught at homes and communities.   reply
