I can totally read straight hxntai when I was younger but when I started reading BL, I also started to read less straight hxntai.
And now my situation is like this:
I can read BL w a plot and smut scenes but if you give me another manga w a hetero couple and w the same plot, I can't read it at all unless it's a plotless one and I it has tags that I like + I only skim it. Other than that, I won't view it.
Does anyone relate to what I said?? (╥_╥)
I don't hate reading straight hxntai, it is that I can't handle reading it. I really wanted to read (╥_╥)

Ps. I'm only talking about w smut scenes :*

Latter. Idk why, but a sibling's ex is more awkward for me. The other one may be considered more on the psychological side, so I guess I can tolerate it more.   reply

A comic about a guy getting together with their sibling’s ex (whether the sibling is dead or not is up though) OR a comic about a guy getting together with the person who’s killed (or murder accomplice) their loved one.

Both are kinda awkward to me but personally I’d pick the ex lol it’s weird that it’s a pretty common plot in romance... the latter is usually in isekai tho

Earlier today I seen someone refer to liking bl as sinning and I immediately got disgusted and thought of the perfect thing for people to read. Source: 50% OFF episode 19 (Free! Abridged) NAGISA: Kou, I'mma be real with you, you've gotta know that what you do is like kind of gross, right? KOU: Oh, I'm the gross one? NAGISA: Yeah, like, you know.......   reply

I feel you on that. I've been finding BL manhwa refreshing since the "roles" aren't always mapped so neatly according to physical and behavioral stereotypes. Not to mention that there's often more visual/aesthetic variety too. There's even a fair amount of BL manga that don't stick to the usual, though a lot seems to fly under the radar.
