If the partner is abusive, manipulative, narcissist, or anything of the sort, yes. If it is just that you cannot help but fall out of love for them but can't bring yourself to end things, you should break up asap. Leading on a person whom you feel nothing for is bad. I say it would be classified as cheating, like if ur talking to ur ex during OUR relationship I would be heartbroken bc the trust and love I built with u would be gone within seconds and it can lead to a messy breakup, especially if u knew that I didn't want u talking to ur ex, tho that's how I would see it   1 reply

I indeed was a cheater, and also have been on the receiving end of cheating. It is not a good thing, and I do still have habits from when I was cheating. Obviously, it does not feel good from the receiving end, and the only reason why people cheat is one of two reasons #1: to get over someone else #2: to feel powerful, to feel better about themsel......   reply
