I hate love triangles and I agree with all your points. Most of the time I will simply avoid reading something that is obviously a love triangle but sometimes I read something thinking it'll end in a 3p and then it ends up being just another shitty love triangle and I feel disappointed. Yes I hate them too and for all the same reasons. I always end up felling bad for the second lead and I also hate how they take forever to chose one and just drag it on. Love triangle are pointless & useless. In the long run, someone is gonna get hurt, no? Like, don't polyamorous relationships exist? OP, all your points are simply immaculate facts you know what would honestly be interesting more than a love triangle in a story? My reasons for disliking are here: 1. Sometimes the main character keeps rejecting them and they keep showing up. 2. I 99% of the time immediately know who they will end up with and so the rest of the story is just torture for the other person. 3.The other person ends up being way better than the actual person they end up with and then it kills me ......   reply
