Not sure about other parts of the world, but in the US, about 75% of women shave their pubic hair. In fact, men do shave too. It's more sanitary and looks better. It's also perfectly normal to not shave. It all comes down to personal preference.
If you're thinking of shaving, trim your pubic hair with scissors, apply shaving cream then shave them ......
