Hello there, I’m a little nervous asking this as it may be touchy to some people and I just hope I can explain it properly. I’m a female that uses female pronouns. But I often times use “we” when referring to myself and I find some sort of... comfort(?) use they/them pronouns. I know there is gender fluid but I don’t see/think myself as a man or anything but find myself using they/them more and more. I guess what I’m trying to ask is: would it be okay to say my preferred pronouns are she/her and They/them? Idk if that is even a thing. I apologize for this. I’m just a little conflicted and need some other opinions on it. Thank you
Um of course! You should be able to call yourself whatever you want. There are no rules on what you can and can’t call yourself and at the end of the day it’s not up to anyone but yourself to choose what to be called. If being called by she/he and they/them makes you happy, then of course this is okay. People should be respectful of the pronoun...... reply
There’s also non binary, not just gender fluid. You can use both and there’s nothing wrong with that if it makes you comfortable. If that’s what you want to do than you have every right. It’s your choice. Sorry if I’m not any help or sound repetitive reply
It is okay but just a couple thoughts...
1.) You could be demigirl
2.) Not all gender fluids people switch between man and female...some switch between non-binary and female (personally I'm non-binary the majority of the time but do switch to male and female)
Also, your pronouns should just be what ever makes you comfortable reply
