Reading yaoi in public? How?

Well... I... I usually don't care who's around when in public xDDD Because, is my phone (i always read there), and I do whatever I want with it. Whenever I read yaoi in public, I always make sure to keep the brightness levels on my cellphone really low so other people who might get close to me can't see what I'm reading. Also, I try to look as casual as I possibly can, or have "poker face" while reading so as to not draw any attention to myself (But I'm not gonna lie. It can get pretty diff......   reply

I actually saw a girl reading yaoi while on the bus, and I recognize the character right away, and I just can't hide how proud I am of her. Thinking back, people on the bus went quiet listening to our conversation - well you can imagine two fujos fangirling, a lot must've went in their head, hahaha. This is not really a "how" but more of a experience or how its like to read yaoi in public. When i first learned about doujinshis it was about a few months ago and I was on a vacation in Taiwan, then I just coudnt help myself but read while going on the trains and such, I was using a iphone 5 and I was reading while in the trains and in the rest......   reply

Yeah, quite often actually... When I needed to take the Métro to go to the uni I would bring a manga with me, and since yaois are quite often one shots, well... Anyways, I can't use my phone cuz it's too old, so I just bring the tankoubon or take my pc to read at school. yes, I often read it in the middle of the class, while the others had presentation in front of class. I took a corner seat, I'm using a book to hide it so my friend beside me can't take a look. I used an app which had night mode so people can't see clearly what I read.   1 reply

whahaha i just read whenever i can yaoi on my phone tho (❀╹◡╹) it sometimes really difficult not too laugh when it gets too cute XD normally i jet try too keep a calm face but honestly iam not that great at it sometimes and then i quickly look around if someone saw me but when i can i read it ... i just sooooooooooooooooooooooooo love it......   reply

In public... Well I read in class and when I'm in the bus with my phone. In both cases I'm sitting down so it's already pretty hard to see what I'm reading, unless you actually try and see what's on the screen... But if you're glancing it's pretty hard to see, also because I read mangas only in english and I live in Italy (and there aren't that man......   reply
