struggling with smut manga
I find it really hard to find a GOOD m x f smut manga to read- whether legal or illegal.
Especially one with female protagonists, it makes me sad how it is common in Japan to write them as naive women who are taken advantage of by non-consenting dominant love interests.
I would love to see more strong women in smut manga who can actually have more fun and power in the smutty scenes; ones who can challenge their love interests if they mess up.
I remember i was so hyped to read the smut manga about a sexy incubus (sex demon) because damn they are HOT ...but i was so disappointed to find out that he ends up abusing a teenage girl who only wanted to study for her exams....
(like i wonder why can't the incubus go full dong on a consenting adult instead? )
And then i compare it to the ecchi succubus manga that i once read that was SUPER CUTE... and a BL incubus manga which was also SUPER CUTE...yet no smut manga even matches up to these two which is disappointing.
it kinda baffles me why there aren't enough variety in women protagonist personalities in m/f smut manga either.
are there any good m/f smut manga? do they exist?????????
lol im glad you're actually going out of ur way to look for healthy relationships in your manga. A lot of people use "I hate how women are written" as an excuse but don't even bother looking for good representation anyway.
Also I wish BL was held to this standard, ppl are less likely to stop reading BL altogether despite a lot of unhealthy repres......

OMG, right!?! All the m/f smut manga carry the same tone, scheme, and one dimensionality in their women and men! It's infuriating to look at and I find myself asking why Japan gives more freedom to men in their BL than women in their smut stories??? And the kicker is that a majority of these writers are WOMEN! The fuck is this crap!?!

Yeah this was exactly the reason I stopped reading like mxf mangas, cause the girls are almost always written horribly and all weak and kya-y and the dude is either a rapist or like typical over dominating buff guy.

the kind of why I left mxf genere like i still read it but but yoai and yuri is were its at for me. There some annoying relationships tho in those genres too and that's why I just bounce between all of them. I kind of dont give a shit about gender anyways

They exist but they are a rare find. I suggest either sadistic beauty, sweat and soap or talk to me(talk to me and sweat and soap are more vanilla lol).

I am trying my hardest to show myself some more positive fictional m/f relationships ... so many manga I've read just don't show them in the way I like tbh!
I used to read a LOT of m/f shoujo manga with oresama abusive types... and sadly that affected the smut manga that i found too.
