I'm pretty sure it's fine as long as there's consent. If someone likes to be beat then that's fine, just let them do them and you do you. It's not sympathy, it's a kink. It's only rape if there isn't permission. You should study about things you're ignorant about before stating your opinion, it can come off as very offensive.
