When the plot is so cliche it hurts or usually when the uke is the ONLY one blushing and the seme is just the super cool guy. I hate that cliche the most. Or the uke is just so weak willed he ends up doing nothing throughout the story.   2 reply

I once read a Yaoi manga with rape in it and i thought afterwards, wow never again. Although the story line was good and the pairing was good. Not the rape ship but the other healthy relationship.   reply

Just a sh* tty story in general. After so many years I've gotten more intoned with what I like, so I try to avoid mangas that have things not appealing to me, but if I have to say something that makes me regret I read it would be a story that starts off a certain way and somehow switches gears.   1 reply

Unsatisfying endings are the worst for me, like when the main character ends up with a different character than I was hoping for. Especially when they involve a legitimately nice person getting screwed over in the end. I recently read a manga where the nice guy was dumped for a cheating ex and it just annoyed the hell out of me, especially since up......   1 reply

okay so I really hated hogu hagyeongsu but i think that was mostly bc like half of the ppl in the comments were defending the guy who continuously raped, abused and in the past, go the the uke gangraped by his friends also it was just like 60 chaps of the uke being raped and like there was hardly any plot at all like okay thanks I actually read ya......   1 reply

I can put up with rape (to a point ) , but for me it's abuse, especially mental and emotional. And I have a really hard time with grooming (as part of something that resembles 'pedophilia' even if it's merely implied.) It's just sick that some grown man would fall in love with a child, then groom the child into his perfect lover. A favorite mang......   3 reply

All of the above and anything that has to do with urine/scat fetishes. Thankfully I haven't come across any of those yet, I think. The closest I can remember was a kidnapping that had the kidnapper taking care of the hostages "daily needs."
