My parents beat my ass and yelled at me a lot as a teenager. I got over it, because at the end of the day, they're my parents and they love me. Unless your parents genuinely hate you or abuse you to the point of torture, i don't really see a problem here. Just do what they want and get over it, man. It's not like they're making you work at a labor ......
