Well for me the first thing that caught my attention in a yaoi was the comedy like I don't why but I find it so funny and that's what I like the most about this genre and its different from the comedy in shoujo or another genre. Also I love when the seme is sarcastic but in a funny way I'm pretty sarcastic myself so I can relate to those characters......
