Are straight women that read bl manga fetishizing?
I’ve seen a lot of people on here argue about this so i’m gonna give my take on this. Probably gonna get cancelled
So my answer is yes but, if that’s the only kind of media they consume then it’s fetishization and they use it to get off then it’s fetishization.
This also isn’t based just on my opinion. I’ve asked many different members of lgbtq+ community that i know and a lot of have agreed with me. Some others disagreed but yea I just wanted to see you guys’ opinions.
I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with fetishizing the FICTIONAL genre. As long as you draw a strict line between reality and fiction and don't let it affect the way you treat REAL mlm and gay people, I don't see a problem. 2 reply
