I swear, I have never cried this much

I just finished Banana Fish today. Like literally only 15 minutes ago. I knew most of what happened in the anime due to spoilers and I already knew the outcome. I knew I was going to cry and everything but I didn't think it'd be this bad. I have never cried so much because of an anime. Like I bawled my eyes out to Naruto, A Silent Voice, and even The Promised Neverland but Banana Fish really hit hard. But enough about me, how is your day going?

I've never seen banana fish, but booooy have I heard about the snot-fest that follows. But I actually have no idea WHY people cry, because I don't know the plot, sooooo.... What happens? Do you guys mind sharing? Because I really will not put myself through a tragedy anime... I've done it before, not doing it again. And thanks, my day was just fine...... reply
