how do bl authors do it ? no sane human being would get with their rapist and no sane human being would do this stupid shit in the first place . do bl authors even try to imagine being in the shoes of their own characters ? i mean , if they experienced what happened to their characters do you think they would be a bit smart about writing their story at least ?

you have to consider trauma bonding, and a lot of mental and emotional damage that is done...you'd be surprised at how many victims end up going back to their rapist or creating families with them...this is exaggerated by a lot but it's not that far from what humans do in real life reply
They just don't know how to write anything other than rape it seems. It's just a common thing found in BL these days which is really sad. :( I saw consent for once and I was like "OHOHOHO?
