For me, I started watching anime with a lot of shonen stuff, and the girls in shonen are kinda just shitty or just there so the main character can have a girlfriend, so I just grew to dislike anime girls in general. I just kinda stopped reading sl cause of the weak kya-y girl tropes after that and just read bl instead. I'm perfectly fine with girls......
