you can use both in the same sentence. ex. "can you tell him that their food is done."
you can also switch it with each sentence, ex. "their hair is so pretty. can you ask her what shampoo she uses?"
just be sure to use both pronouns at some point. we go by both for a reason and it can be very frustrating when people only use one.
