What is the things that makes you dropped what your currently reading

For the manhwa for example is the art. If I don't like the art or I will considered it us "ugly" I will literally dropped it ooof except if the story or the plot is likeable then I'll stay for the mean time tho I feel sorry for the artist or the auther since ik they work hard on it.For the readings like novels is that the fl or the ml talked too much by his/herself, I mean when he's not talking to other characters you know? Sorry I'm not good at this language nor explaining things. So what's yours? I'm quiet curious.

If a story started out cute and exciting and the writer decides to drag it just for the sake of it to add literally nothing to the story or more smut or more conflicts makes me tired of a story and I just drop it. I read BL and straight. For BL, it is the second hand embarrassment. if the seme is toxic and does all of these bad things to the uke but the uke easily forgives him because sometimes the seme is good to him. If they story goes on for too long stuck on the same problem, it gets too boring. When the seme plays with the uke feelings. FOR straight it...... reply

When one chapter ends in a cliffhanger and the next chapter is a flashback, to me is so frustrating that i usually give up on the story, it has to be extremely good to keep me reading reply
