What is some valid criticism for JJK?

I see a lot of love for JJK but i also see a good amount of hate.

I want to know some valid criticism ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
(i only ever see ‘it’s mid’ or ‘overrated’ but they never go deeper)

I’m caught up on the manga so feel free to mention anything~

I heard a lot of people complain it was pretty baren of plot and the only thing to look forward to was the cool fight scenes, but I can't judge fairly, haven't read/watched it-- reply
