When did you start like yaoi ?

well to start off the first time was probably back in 5th grade when I heard about yaoi. It wasn't until I got more into anime in 6th grade that I looked into it cause my brother told me about yaoi again. Apparently I never knew it was yaoi because I was pretty young at that time, like I was 9 years old or something. I was even very dumb to to think that it was just a normal relationship. So, I'm a teenager right now. I got into yaoi a year ago. I got into yaoi by shipping two male characters in an anime I was currently watching. It led me to Wattpad to read a few fanfictions about them. The comments on the fanfiction led me to a few doujinshis about the two males and then WHAM. I'm here and a huge fujoshi.   reply

I started reading yaoi off/on in my late teens/early twenties. I immediately liked it, even though at the time I felt like it was something I was "too old" to be reading. But screw that! I was 14, maybe 15 and at first I was so confused since I was sheltered for most of my life and didn’t know what gay people were. The first time I saw it I closed my laptop quickly, but then I got curious about what was going to happen next.
