No, you don't need to be ashamed. Some people just can't accept that other people are different. Tolerance is on verge of extinction. Others are not used to think for themselves, and get scared when they find someone who can.
And if I would do that, well depends. I only do what I want to do. If it pikes my interest, I'll definetly try it.
