What are your thoughts and opinions regarding people labeling characters as seme and uke?

I've read quite a lot of comments referring the characters as such and I am quite curious of what other people think about it.

I mean we are here for the yaoi so sex positions are usually easier to remember than the names idc what u call them as long as u don't call real ppl by it reply
