Okay so yesterday I admitted to myself and to a public discord server that I was a fujoshi cause I was a fan of reading mangas with romance between two men. Shortly after I got replies saying that it was fetishizing and It was bad to fetishize that kinda thing. I apologized stating that I didn’t know it was fetishizing and I thought the term fujoshi was defined as a simple definition of a girl liking and reading mangas that has romance between two men. Is being a fujoshi really bad? I dunno If I used the term wrong or if I didn’t properly understand what being a fujoshi is, but I really need some clarification about this.

Most fujoshis do fetishize gay men, a lot of people are going to assume you are one of those mfs even if you are not so it is better not to call yourself that cause it is just straight out weird. reply
